Well, we have to admit that it's barely a conservative look; still I don't see anything extravagant like in the pink patterned pantyhose design that we offered some time ago.

And to give some practical advices: black and white hosiery fits the most easily to black and white clothes of course.
It does worth to experiment with striped clothes, but not becessary - just be sure the colors fit.
Otherwise, think about the hosiery just like if you were to put on a two-parts trousers, which has differently colored parts - you have to choose one for bellow, and for above the knees.
