Stilnovo, the company behind the Emilio Cavallini brand answered our request literally in hours.
In two days I was able to unpack and touch the newest, finest pantyhose for men.
It's actually a line of unisex tights - made of thicker yarn, and advertised for both genders, just like the Levée brand.
Shall we call them unisex tights or mantyhose? For us, they are mantyhose. For the fashion industry, they are probably unisex garments - if this category exists at all.
Brave elegance
I was wondering a lot - when will the time come for an Italian male / unisex pantyhose product? After all, Italy is the de facto fashion center of the hosiery world.
And we have mantyhose made in the US, Germany, France, Poland, Czech Republic, UK, China... Each design came with a different approach in mind.
But none of them were treated purely as fashion accessories, until the Emilio Cavallini brand, which is, finally! a series of patterned tights designs; elegant as only Italian hosiery can be.
