Pantyhose is NOT a women clothing: it has nothing to do with ANY specific female organ.
Just like with the case of skirt, it's only the society and the habits regulate who wears
it and why.In the first half of the last century there were many movements among women for treating them equally. This was called emancipation, and, one of the achievements of emancipation was that girls wear trousers ever since.

And, not much before the last century, guys were wearing pantyhose. That was the fashion at that time, and as the suite with trousers came in, was it slowly disappearing, taken over
by women.
