New pantyhose for men webshop opens
A brand new hosiery webshop called 'Tinamikaela' was recently opened in Greece, to be found at http://www.tinamikela.com
The person behind the venture, Greek hosiery enterpreneur Michalis operates the shop from two locations: the main office is in Athens which provide easy and faster distribution on mainland Greece and we also have an office in Santorini (Thira) island from where they distribute products in Crete, Cyprus and southern islands.
The shop serves both the local Greek community and the EU countries, which have handful of payment options, from Paypal to Cash on Delivery.
Speaking about the origins of the shop, Michalis told to e-MANcipate, "the whole idea of this on-line shop started when I realised that I hade a hard time to find these products in Greece. At one point it was started to be annoying when I was going into pantyhose/tights shops asking for men's hosiery and they were giving me strange looks telling me that they didn't even heard about it. Well that thing made me thinking. So here we are now, importing these products for anyone hwo enjoy wearing tights and leggings for men ,and also wants to support this industry."
Michalis also plans to open a small shop in the centre of Athens, based on the success of the webshop, which has already served international customers from the Netherlands, Germany, Romania and Bulgaria. Launching an own mantyhose brand is also in the long-term plans.
Asked about to which extent the mantyhose was accepted in Greece, he told us that altough in general Greek people are open minded, they still have prejudices. As pantyhose for men / mantyhose merchants they have had a lot of positive feedback from their customers and other people including womens.
He also told that as the weather changes in Greece, winter months are now colder than before, creating a need for warm underwear.
Tinamikela shop currently sells ladies and gents pantyhose and related items from Doyeah, with more stock from more manufacturers arriving soon.
